This is dedicated to the awesome ~Kanda-kun!
I promised to draw Kanda as a child for her in exchange for her drawing Kanda in a cardigan for me ^^ I hope you like this, and sorry again that you had to wait so long! ...I have to do something about my lazyness ;;;>_>...
I tried a different scene at first but it didn't work out at all, so after a little thinking I came up with this. ~Kanda-kun only asked for child Kanda but I decided to try drawing Alma, too, since I really love the friendship between these two boys ^^ *huggles after reading chapters 190-191 a couple of times for reference* It turned out that drawing Alma is surprisingly easy, even if I had never before tried to draw him O_o Drawing Kanda, on the other hand, was frustrating, though. I tried at least 10 different poses before I was satisfied =_=
Oh, and then there was a time when one of the shades of grey I was using threatened to run out before I was finished with the stone floor, so it looks a bit messy and the brush strokes show a bit too much T_T I apologize for that. ...I need more shades of grey anyway *runs to the nearest art shop*
As a side note, have you read the newest chapter of DGM yet? It's really starting to go crazy. Though, I don't complain as long as I see Kanda ^^

Done with Copic markers, a white marker for highlights and after scanning changed the colors a shade or two to a cooler one.

This is so wonderful. I love their poses, and the colours really give a sense of nostalgia. I so wish Hoshino had written more about these two - it was such an interesting friendship.
